For a long time, we wanted to make craft kits for kids in need. This summer we finally did it. First, we went to the store and got different craft supplies for certain age groups.
We got coloring books and crayons for the younger kids, and journals and pens for the older kids. Next, we got pouches to put the craft supplies in. That way the kids that get the craft kits can keep their things organized. Then we put labels on the pouches that way, they know which craft kits go to which age groups. Lastly, we figured out where to give the craft kits. We decided to give them to the Domestic Violence Center. Later the Boys and Girls Club asked for some too! So far the craft kits have been very successful.
